Weight: 9.6 kg

Height: 47 cm

Health issues: Almost fully blind but otherwise healthy

Neutered: Yes

Ready to travel abroad: Yes

History: Meiday was rescued from the Enguri dam, where he was struggling to find food and survive. Some locals are trying to feed the dogs there, but Meiday couldn’t compete with larger dominant dogs and was constantly hungry. During a fight with other dogs for food, his eyes got damaged. Photos of him were shared in the Zugdidi stray help group, asking for assistance. Unfortunately, one eye couldn’t be saved and was removed, while the other was already damaged. We believe he sees some shadows from one eye and completely lost vision in the other. After surgery, we took him into foster care, and since then, he has been looking for his dream home.

Personality: Meiday does not feel comfortable when many dogs are around. He is scared of big dogs but never shows aggression and tries to be careful. He loves cuddles and being close to people. He enjoys playing with kids and loves being in the yard, walking freely. Ideally, he should be adopted into a family where he will have a relaxed life, full of love. He deserves it so much!

Good with cats and kids? Loves kids, not tested on cats.
