History: Maisi (May in Georgian) was found injured on a street in Tbilisi in May 2024, unable to move due to severe pain. Her front leg was torn off, and she had burns and injuries on her head and back. The vets could not determine the cause of her injuries, suspecting human abuse, as she also had burn marks on her head. Local volunteers saved her and sponsored her front leg surgery and several surgeries near eye zone (to make her open eye properly—her the skin was extremely tightened because of the burns). Her rehabilitation process lasted about 3 month in foster care. This was sponsored through funds raised in a Facebook group for cat lovers.
Personality: Maisi is a very calm and loving girl. Despite her pain, she remained calm even during her daily procedures. She is very friendly with other cats and loves being cuddled by her foster dad. She quickly adapts to new environments and is a very smart girl. You see in her eyes the pain she went through and the love she’s feeling towards Giorgi, her foster. Maisi is looking for forever home and caring family who will never allow her to suffer.
