History: Sadie was abandoned in the Zugdidi city center. We know almost all the dogs there, so we notice new ones quickly. As she is female, we took her for sterilization and returned her to the street. Our Mariam couldn’t forget her eyes. With many foster dogs and no potential adopters on the horizon, we were scared to add more, but she was never forgotten. Mariam promised Sadie that if she could survive on the street for a few months until space freed up at the foster home, she would get a second chance at life. She survived, and we fulfilled our promise. She is now safe with our foster family and looking for the best home.
Personality: We think Sadie is an English pointer mix. She has a strong hunting instinct and is super smart. She is also loving and human-oriented. We call her a free spirit; she loves big open spaces where she can walk and run freely. She is also used to living inside the house; in the home environment, she is a very calm, gentle dog. She is good with other dogs, humans, and kids as well.
Good with cats and kids? Sadie loves kids and has no aggression towards cats.
