Meet our strays!
Meet our rescues who are currently in paid foster care, looking for a forever home.
These furry friends were all found in the streets of Georgia, in desperate need of medical attention. They have been treated, neutered, dewormed, and vaccinated, and they have all the documentation ready to travel abroad. We’ve already sent hundreds to Europe and North America!
Mikesh ♂️
Mikesh has survived terrible leg pain and a string of leg surgeries. He’s very sweet, well-behaved, and quiet.
Luna ♀️
Luna was found as a puppy in a deserted location. She’s moderately active, very sweet, and always up for playdates with other dogs.
Leni ♀️
Leni has survived two car crashes and months of roaming the streets of Zugdidi. She’s friendly and sweet.
Loulou ♀️
Loulou, a breast cancer surviver, was abandoned pregnant. She’ll stand by your side for hours in exchange for pets on the head.
Pixie ♀️
Pixie was abandoned as a puppy in Zugdidi. Her tail never stops wagging, she’s very playful and sweet.
Peanut ♂️
Peanut has survived a car crash and several surgeries, sponsored through crowdfunding. He’s the funniest, sweetest boy.
Meiday ♂️
Meiday was struggling to compete with other dogs living near a dam, and he almost fully lost his sight. He’s looking for a quiet life.
Ray ♂️
Paralyzed after a car crash, Ray regained his ability to walk after months of care. He likes to walk, but tires easily. He’s a quiet soul.
Sirius ♀️
We found Sirius completely hairless due to skin disease. She’s shy at first, but very friendly. She’s not happy with many dogs around in foster care.
Bingo ♂️
Bingo hurt his paw after a car crash and underwent surgery. He’s all healthy now, and extremely sweet!
Romeo ♂️
Abandoned together with Juliet in the middle of Zugdidi. He’s always hanging out with Juliet (on the right), so we’d like to adopt them together.
Juliet ♀️
Abandoned with Romeo in Zugdidi. She spends most of her time with Romeo, so we don’t want to separate them if we can help it.
Charlie ♂️
Charlie broke his paw after a car crash, but he’s healed well, and he loves to run around the garden and play with other dogs.
Cony ♀️
Cony was rescued during a neutering campaign. She was newly abandoned and terrified. She’s active, attached to humans, and sweet.
Terra ♀️
We picked Terra up from a remote location during our neutering campaign and couldn’t put her back. Moderately active, loves playtimes and kids.
Jack ♂️
A very kind, gentle boy. He was abandoned in a churchyard. We found him with his mom and other puppies, four of whom survived.
Kitcha ♂️
This lovely boy was found on a large dump together with his sister and has since spent a year in paid foster. He is sweet and well-behaved.
Ace ♂️
Ace was newly abandoned by his owners, and almost hit by a car in front of our eyes. He’s timid but loves to play with dogs and kids.
Amadeus ♂️
Living on the street, Amadeus refused food even when hungry. All he wanted was pets. He’s the most intelligent dog we’ve seen!
Avalon ♂️
Avalon was stranded on a deserted road with a broken paw, in pain. Now, he’s healthy and moderately active. He loves humans and other dogs.
Elrond ♂️
When a car hit him and didn’t even stop, we picked Elrond up for treatment. This active boy has the sweetest personality!
Svani ♂️
A car crash left Svani without a leg, but he loves to run, and be around people and other dogs.
Tsknafo ♂️
A playful boy who has now recovered from a car accident thanks to a local animal rights activist.
Rocky ♂️
Rocky lives in a park and is looked after by a local animal rights activist. Everyone loves and takes care of him. He’s ready to be adopted abroad.
Kuzya ♀️
When she was 2 months old, Kuzya’s leg was torn off in a small, poor city in Georgia. She’s sweet, calm, and well-behaved, and runs like the wind!
Mila♀️
Mila has survived distemper, and she’s one of the sweetest dogs we’ve ever seen, very friendly with kids, dogs and cats.
Fritzi ♀️
Fritzi is a dream dog! Very intelligent, affectionate, and moderately active. She was abandoned by her family.
Noah ♂️
Noah was abaondoned in the Dighomi Meadows. He survived horrible skin disease. He’s well-mannered and sweet.
Lola ♀️
A calm, friendly lady. The municipal services dropped her off at a park, and she was petrified to face the local packs of dogs.
Tessa ♀️
Tessa has traveled from village to village, finally ending up in our care. She went from being terrified of everyone to being attached to humans.
Nala ♂️
When we found him, Nala was so weak, he couldn’t even search for food or walk. He’s cautious around other dogs, but friendly and sweet.
Nona ♀️
Nona and her siblings lived on a busy road. She was adopted and then abandoned again. She loves everything and everyone—she’s the sweetest!
Billy ♂️
A car hit Billy, injured both of his legs, and rushed off. His legs have healed well after the surgery. Billy is the foster dad’s favorite due to his sweetness.
Malu ♀️
Disabled, gentle little girl. She can only move her front legs. There are no neurosurgeons in Georgia. We haven’t been able to give her proper care.
Fifi ♀️
Fifi was rescued from a deserted road near Svaneti. Her ideal family would have a yard, as she loves an open space. She’s very sweet and friendly.
Sonya ♀️
Sonya’s mom died when she was a few days old, so we raised her and her siblings on milk powder. She loves kids and is always up for a run.
Heart ♀️
At first, our Mariam couldn’t take Heart in, so she left her heart with her. Finally, she caved! Heart is gentle, quiet, and loves big spaces.
Audrey ♀️
Audrey spent a year hiding under the bushes, waiting for Mariam’s dad to feed her daily. She’s great with kids, moderately active, and well-behaved.
Susie ♀️
Susie is kind and sweet. She’s very attached to humans. She’s a tiny, delicate dog. She was petrified of local stray dogs.
Jenya ♀️
Jenya was so desperate for human company, she followed our team member to a mountain peak! Anyone who meets her falls in love with her.
Mitty ♀️
As a puppy, Mitty had trouble competing with other dogs on the street. She’s been in foster care for a year, no longer afraid. She’s sweet and kind.
Sadie ♀️
We think that Sadie is an English pointer mix. She’s very smart. We call her a free spirit. She loves running in big open spaces. She’s also very loving.
Femi ♀️
Femi is a gentle soul, so we couldn’t leave her on the street. She rarely makes a noise, and loves human attention.
Stina ♀️
Stina has barely survived living on a busy road near Zugdidi. She’s energetic, and loves being around humans, kids, and people.
Watson ♂️
Watson was abandoned on a busy road, and he kept running into traffic in search of his owner. He is extremely sweet and intelligent, and quite active.
Nigel ♂️
Found at a gas station, skinny and with skin desease, Nigel is a brilliant dog, moderately active. He loves staying indoors with humans.
